Erin and Alex had all their wedding plans in place, and wanted to avoid wedding day stress by having someone co-ordinate and managed their day for them. Recommended by their wedding venue, Morden Hall in South London, we worked together in the final few weeks to bring all their plans and details together, giving them the opportunity to enjoy the build up to their wedding day.
An international celebration, guests flew in from Erin’s home country of Canada, as well as attending from all over the UK. Their wedding was the first time since the pandemic, that many guests had seen each other.
Their outdoor ceremony took place on the North Lawn, between the back drops of the River Wandle, and the quintessentially 18th century English country house. Combining elegance, charm, and sophistication, it was the ideal setting for their beautiful Summer wedding.
The focal point of their ceremony was a frame arch draped with floating fabric and fresh seasonal flowers. The ceremony table was adorned with an abundant floral arrangement that was repurposed for the reception.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks and canapes on the lawns with live music performed a string quartet.
Erin & Alex’s vision for their wedding was elegant, romantic, modern and timeless with a colour palette encompassing blush pink, peach, grey and cream, that encapsulated the romance of the setting and the day.
Guests took their seats for dinner in Mulberry, the round tables were dressed with pink and blush linens, and elegant tableware. With low centrepieces filled with flowers, and blush candles, the look was sophisticated and romantic. Erin & Alex added packets of their favourite sweets as their guest favours to each place setting.
They chose to be seated at a table for two (Sweetheart table), and the ceremony arch was moved to frame their table. A gorgeous 3 tier cake featuring fresh flowers was displayed for all to see, and following the wedding breakfast, the frame arch was moved to behind the cake table.
As day turned to evening, guests were invited into Willow, where the band was ready to get the evening started. Erin & Alex made their grand entrance via the stunning sweeping staircase for the their first dance. Guests partied into the night and enjoyed a late night snack of bacon sandwiches.
Erin & Alex’s wedding was a beautiful day filled with elegance and romance, and it was a privilege to be part of their dream supplier team.
