Large celebrations might not be able to happen right now, but they will be back.   It’s easy to get caught up in the here and now, but don’t feel guilty about thinking ahead and to start getting ideas and plans together for your wedding.  You can still dream of what’s to come and how you want your wedding day to be.  For those wanting a beautifully romantic and modern, ballroom style wedding, this inspiration board I have put together features lots of ideas.

Ballrooms often offer high ceilings, beautiful details, incredible chandeliers and lots of natural light.  All of these elements can help create an airy and romantic feel that can be the ideal blank canvas to bring your wedding ideas to life.  Usually, a flexible space for both your ceremony and reception, they can accommodate larger guests numbers, but can also be made to feel more intimate for a smaller guest list.

A neutral colour palette that complements the existing décor really ties the look of your wedding together.  By adding soft lighting and draping on the walls and ceiling, you can turn a larger space into an intimate space with lots of atmosphere.

While the detail in the room may not be the modern décor you were looking for, luxury linens and delicately detailed place settings help keep the look modern and romantic.  Combining modern stationery with a textured cake, and a table full of beautiful flowers offers a romantic and elegant vibe, without being overly feminine.

If you want to really make a statement whilst still keeping an elegant and modern feel, tall flower-filled arrangements placed around your ceremony space can be repurposed and moved to your reception space which adds drama and interest for your guests.
