The weather is changing and a new season is here.   Autumn is a favourite time for many, and some of the best things about Autumn weddings are the crisp and sunny days, vibrant colours that make you think about the season and the beautiful light at that time of year that is perfect for your wedding photos.

Seasonal produce is at some of it’s best at this time of year too, and will give you some wonderful options for your wedding feast.  But if you’re not feeling the vibe of the deep orange, rust and red tones that are typical Autumn colours, keeping your wedding palette neutral with touches of greens or lighter shades of orange are a sophisticated alternative.

This inspiration board features a collection of ideas using a colour palette of sage green and peach, with accents of orange tones – it’s an elegant nod to the season without being full on Autumn and full of pumpkins.

Autumn weddings don’t have to be indoors, if you have your heart set on an outdoor ceremony (early Autumn dates work best for this) or your reception in a marquee, be mindful that the evenings will begin to get darker earlier and will be chilly, so consider additional lighting and some form of heating.

Add to the atmosphere by hanging lanterns decorated with flowers from tree branches.

Create an alternative ceremony backdrop with a wooden frame draped with elegant fabric, foliage and lanterns.

Elegant stationery filled with floral details and modern calligraphy, and a bouquet filled with seasonal flowers in tones of orange and peach all complement an Autumnal vibe.

An abundance of fairy lights strung across a marquee add atmosphere and romance, and tables set with modern cutlery and elegant plates, textured linens and flower filled centrepieces finish the look.
