With a large guest list, and numerous suppliers, Kayleigh & Mark had most of their wedding plans in place, but were struggling with the overwhelm of finalising the details of their wedding. We began working together a few months before their wedding, going through all their wedding plans in detail, and identifying information gaps.
They chose Pennyhill Park in Bagshot as the venue for their early March wedding. This elegant 19th-century manor house and luxurious hotel, set amidst the picturesque parkland of Surrey, provided an idyllic setting.
Kayleigh and Mark’s vision for their wedding was an elegant and romantic celebration, with an abundance of flowers and candles. Their chosen colour palette of cream and burgundy, accented with gold, beautifully encapsulated their vision.
Their wedding day began with Kayleigh and her bridesmaids preparing in one of Pennyhill Park’s exquisite rooms, while Mark and his groomsmen readied themselves at home before arriving to greet the guests.
The ceremony was held in the Library, a traditional wood-panelled room flooded with light by stained-glass windows, featuring a grand fireplace and chandeliers. It was a truly memorable setting to say I do.
A backdrop of large fresh flower urn arrangements on plinths, surrounded by candles, created a focal point for the ceremony, while the fresh flower and foliage meadow arrangements and candles adorned the aisle.
The staircase leading to the reception space was filled with flowers, to give the feeling of a waterfall effect. It created the perfect photo opportunity for guests throughout the day.
Following a brief photo session outdoors, Kayleigh and Mark joined their guests for drinks and canapés. A special highlight was Kayleigh’s daughter performing a beautiful song during the drinks reception.
Dinner followed, accompanied by entertainment from The Function Band, whose interactive performance delighted the guests as they enjoyed a delicious three-course meal. The five-tier wedding cake, surrounded by florals and candles, added an ethereal and romantic ambiance, while a dessert table overflowed with delicious treats.
After dinner, the cocktails flowed from a pop-up cocktail bar, and everyone danced into the night.
It was a pleasure to work with Kayleigh and Mark, bringing their wedding vision to life. Their wedding day was a beautiful celebration for a lovely couple, and it was an honour to be part of their team of suppliers.
