When couples choose to travel across the world to marry in London, I always believe the wedding should feel like more than a beautiful celebration. It should feel like an experience.
For Georgia & Elliott, that experience was centred around one of London’s most iconic landmarks, the magnificent St Pancras London Hotel. Travelling from California to celebrate with family and friends from both the UK and the United States, they envisioned a wedding that felt elegant, sophisticated and unmistakably London.
Their celebration combined historic grandeur, timeless floral design and meaningful personal touches, creating a truly unforgettable wedding day in the heart of London.
A London Landmark Steeped in Romance
Before we began working together, Georgia & Elliott had already chosen the spectacular St Pancras London Hotel as the setting for their celebration.
With its breathtaking Victorian architecture, sweeping staircases and rich history, it was easy to see why they fell in love with it. For an American couple bringing together family and friends from both sides of the Atlantic, it offered the perfect blend of London grandeur and timeless romance.
A Vision of Timeless Elegance
Georgia & Elliott’s vision was beautifully simple: elegant, classic and sophisticated.
Their wedding design centred around a neutral palette of white, cream and soft sage green tones, creating a romantic atmosphere that perfectly complemented the historic interiors of the hotel. Abundant florals featured throughout the day, with lush greenery and layers of elegant white flowers bringing softness and texture to each space. White hydrangeas, a particular favourite of the couple, played an important role within the floral design.
Rather than following trends, every design choice was guided by creating something timeless that would still feel beautiful for years to come.
The Heart of the Celebration
The ceremony took place in the stunning Ladies’ Smoking Room, one of the hotel’s most characterful and elegant spaces.
Adding an especially personal touch, Georgia’s brother officiated the ceremony, making the moment even more meaningful for the couple and their families.
The ceremony design was elegant and understated, centred around a deconstructed floral arch filled with white blooms and lush greenery. Rows of candlelight lined the aisle, creating a warm, romantic glow and transforming the room into the perfect setting for their vows.
As Georgia & Elliott exchanged their vows surrounded by family and friends, the room felt effortlessly romantic and full of warmth.
Bringing Family and Friends Together
One of the things I loved most about this wedding was the coming together of two families and two countries.
Guests travelled from across England and America to celebrate Georgia & Elliott, creating an atmosphere that felt incredibly special throughout the day.
Following the ceremony, guests gathered in the hotel’s famous staircase foyer for drinks and canapes before moving through to The Gallery for the wedding breakfast.
There was a wonderful sense of excitement throughout the day as guests connected, celebrated and experienced one of London’s most iconic venues together. For many travelling from overseas, it was a memorable introduction to the city’s timeless charm.
Elegant Florals and Candlelit Reception Styling
The reception design was all about creating impact whilst maintaining an air of understated elegance.
Tables were adorned with a combination of floral centrepieces featuring elegant white and cream blooms paired with natural greenery. Layers of candlelight added warmth and atmosphere throughout the space, creating a beautifully romantic setting as guests gathered for dinner and speeches.
The floral design was intentionally abundant yet refined, complementing the grandeur of St Pancras London Hotel without competing with its remarkable architecture. The result was a celebration that felt elegant, timeless and effortlessly luxurious.
A Fairytale London Wedding to Remember
Looking back, Georgia & Elliott’s wedding was everything a London destination wedding should be.
The iconic setting, elegant floral design, meaningful ceremony and the joy of bringing loved ones together from across the world created a celebration that felt both grand and deeply personal.
Whilst the magnificent St Pancras London Hotel provided the perfect backdrop, it was Georgia & Elliott’s love story, their vision and the thoughtful details woven throughout the day that made the wedding truly unforgettable.
It was an absolute privilege to help bring their vision to life and create a celebration that felt timeless, romantic and unmistakably theirs. Set against the grandeur of St Pancras London Hotel, it was a truly unforgettable London wedding from beginning to end.
